Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical services. This is called a Good Faith Estimate (GFE).
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute it:
- Contact us first so we can review the bill together.
- You may also start a dispute resolution process with the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services (HHS).
- To learn more or get forms to start the process, visit: www.cms.gov/nosurprises
At Celina Family Chiropractic Clinic, we believe in transparency and honesty in all aspects of care. Our goal is to ensure you feel informed and confident about your treatment, with no hidden costs or surprises.
